Dear Snowden Overlook Residents:
The SOCA board has eliminated the requirement that all visitors indoors at the clubhouse wear masks, effective immediately.
The rate of new infections in Howard County has dropped appreciably. In addition, CDC recently revised its guidance on the circumstances triggering recommendations for wearing masks in indoor public spaces.
Mask wearing, however, will always be welcome in SOCA facilities. And those who are unvaccinated or have special vulnerabilities may wish to follow CDC recommendations to mask indoors. In addition, SOCA continues to ask those testing positive for Covid-19, ill with Covid-like symptoms, or who have been in contact with persons infected with Covid-19, to refrain from entering the clubhouse and to wear a mask over nose and mouth if they do.
Visitors are still required to wear a wristband indicating that they have signed the liability waiver.
